G.A.S. insanity . . .

After going semi-crazy making gear changes in Bangkok, I wasted no time upon arriving in the ant farm for a short stay. Within a day, I’d found a decent CL at a reasonable price, the least one could hope for in a tiny camera already seven years old.

While in Bangkok I made so many changes so quickly that I can’t even remember what I ditched along the way. Most changes were for M lenses, all Mandler glass. The APO and ASPH stuff was just too perfect for my eyes.

The end result left me ogling M cameras again, even though it would be an extremely illogical move at this point. M cameras can’t shoot birds. But I still can, which means the SL2, 2012-era autofocus and all, stays for a bit longer.

So the current episode of GAS has now drawn to a close.

Well . . . almost. Maybe just one more . . .
