After a two-month break from the ant farm as well as a two-month pause in chasing birds, I headed over to one of the local parks in search of some of my avian friends. The minute I got there it started raining. Still, I managed a few shots.
It was a couple of days before I managed to find time to head out with the long glass again. And the same thing happened: the minute I reached there, rain started falling. This time, there were fewer friends around.
After another day and a half of busy work, during which time the weather out the window was beautiful, I headed out again this afternoon under moderately overcast skies. Yep, right on cue…the minute I got there the rain started. And this time my critter friends were smart enough to stay under shelter somewhere.
I’m beginning to wonder if someone’s trying to tell me something. Maybe next time I head out with a camera, it’ll be to shoot interiors. And if it rains indoors, maybe I’ll get the message . . .
